As a child, I always loved writing and wanted to be an author. At six, we lived on a small farm for a short amount of time. I had a bedroom with a small desk built into the wall, which I thought was so cool and professional-looking.
I sat at that desk for hours every day, drawing pictures from scenes around the farm, pretending they were published picture books. We had a peacock, a wild bighorn ram, chickens, ducks, a huge turkey, and a dog named Bruiser—animals that had been left by the previous owner. There was plenty of substance to pull from for my many pictures.
Now, as an adult and recently buying a small farm in Vermont, I’m pulling out several manuscripts I have been playing with over the years. And again with beautiful scenery, my noisy hens, and Nigerian dwarf goats as inspiration to write. I plan on bringing a few of my stories to fruition by uploading them to Amazon. Thanks to everyone for your interest.
