Michael Vagott (1958- ) was born in the rural town of Matewan, WV, home of the Hatfield/McCoy Feud. On his mother’s side of the family, he is a direct descendant of the infamous William “Devil Anse” Hatfield, leader of the Hatfield clan. On his Father’s side of the family, he comes from immigrant settlers from Budapest, Hungary, who came to America to work in the mining industry. Vagott has been writing since early childhood and has written many how-to articles on martial arts and was a staff writer for Ozark Trails Magazine. He spent many years in the entertainment industry working at both Dollywood and Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO, doing magic shows and stage shows, as well as a stint as an Elvis Impersonator! Vagott is currently working on his first fiction novel series titled “The Blood Feud Diaries.” He currently resides in Dandridge, TN, with his lovely wife, Mishell. Now in semi-retirement, Vagott is looking forward to following his passion for writing.
